NOTD - August 20, 2011
I've been curious about these nail polish strips from Sally Hansen since they were released. Although I was a bit skeptical at first, I will say so far, so good.
The color I bought was 270 Raise the Glass. It's a beautiful shimmery champagne color.
It got a little messy, but nothing that can't be cleaned.
The results...
Not bad for the first try, right?
Pros:
- don't have to wait for the product to dry
- easier to use than I thought it would be
Cons:
- smells like nail polish (something I didn't expect, but I probably should have known)
Do I see myself buying anymore of these polish strips in the future? I'm not so sure. It's definitely less of a hassle to put on than nail polish, but I guess we'll see.

For those who have been keeping my family in your prayers and thoughts: Thank You. I really appreciate it. I lost my younger brother and although he is gone, he will never be forgotten. He was a loving son, brother, and friend. RIP, little brother.

Skincare Routine
I don't believe I have ever posted my skincare routine, so I figured this was the perfect time to do so since my routine has been consistent for a while.
Clarisonic Mia. I used to think I couldn't live without this product, but now I'm starting to see that it's not really necessary. It improved my skin when I first bought it, but now I don't see any difference at all.
Clinique Clarifying Lotion & Cotton Pads. I can't stand the smell, but I like the way my skin feels after application. It feels very refreshing.
Dior Hydra Life Pro Youth Sorbet Eye Cream. I like this eye cream, but I don't think it's HG material. It's very pricey ($49) and I've used better.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. This is surprisingly very moisturizing. My skin has changed dramatically over the past year and this seems to be pleasing it for now, at least.
Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm - Vanilla & Lavender. I cannot believe I spent $20-something on a Fresh lip balm when the one thing I only needed costs $7.50. This lip balm throws all my other lip balms out of the water! HG, HG, HG!
Jose Maran Argan Oil. I tried using this as a moisturizer a couple of times, but I didn't like the result... I use it for my hair after I get out of the shower.
The Body Shop - Vitamin E Body Butter. I can't tell you how many of these I've gone through this year so far... I LOVE it. This is one of the products I cannot live without.
LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter. I bought this a couple of months ago and I use it for my cuticles and elbows. I like it. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it feels a little greasy at times.
The last thing is not in my organizer:
Clinique Liquid Facial Soap. A face soap is a face soap to me... The only reason why I'm using it is because I feel like it goes well with my other Clinique products.
So there you have it... my skincare routine. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream- #27 Honey Beige
Missha recently launched a new shade for their M Perfect Cover BB Cream: #27 Honey Beige. If #23 is too light and/or #31 is too dark, this shade may work for you! Right now, #27 Honey Beige is on sale for only $8.99 which is a great price since it retails for $30. Also, if you register, you will receive a full size of shade #23 Natural Beige as long as you have something at least $1 in your shopping cart. So with $8.99 for shipping, the total cost would be $17.98 for two full-sized tubes; or you could spend $40 to get free shipping along with a box of deluxe samples everyone is talking about. Either way, it's a great deal!
The special price for the new shade ends after the 24th, so make sure to get it now if you're interested!
